Rachel Cardigan is a top down seamless cardigan sweater with raglan shaping. It has a comfortable fit with 2” of positive ease. Raglan increases are worked throughout the yoke to create the classic raglan shaping. A lace panel runs down the front of both sides with a ribbing button band that is picked up and worked at the end. Once you get to the sleeve divide, you will place sleeves onto waste yarn and will continue working the body. The sleeves are worked separately in the round. Collar sts are picked up and worked at the end.

32”, 34“, 38”, 40“, 44”, 48”, 52”, 56“ 60” To pick your size, measure your bust then knit the size that is closest to your actual bust measurement, this will give you 2” of ease. If you are large busted, measure your upper bust and actual bust. If your upper bust is 3+ inches smaller then your full bust, consider knitting one size smaller than your full bust measurement for a better overal fit. You can also measure the bust of your favorite sweater and knit the size that is closest to the FINISHED MEASUREMENTS.

24 sts x 38 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch US 4 [3.5 mm]. Fit is important when knitting a garment. If you do not do a gauge swatch, you run the risk of your measurements and fit being different than the desired outcome.
